Service Plans
MG Heating Service Plans are designed to give customers peace of mind through
knowing that their appliances are safe and operating efficiently with qualified
engineers available 24 hours a day if required.
We have a range of service plans to help you protect your appliances and keep
you family safe and comfortable. Gold, Silver and Bronze service plan options
have been designed to provide a level of service and support to meet all
domestic requirements at a cost that will fit any budget.
Priority attention is given to our care plan customers in the event of an
emergency or breakdown and there are no charges for this service to our silver
and gold care plan holders.
Please note that appliances are accepted subject to survey.
Service plan details
At the start of your service plan we will visit your home and make a complete
inspection and thorough overhaul of all the appliances that are to be covered
by the plan. Time controls, thermostats and pumps will be checked for correct
operation. Radiators, valves, cylinders and tanks will be checked for leaks.
Expansion vessels and expansion tanks will be re-pressurised or topped up as
necessary.
The cost of cleaning and lubrication materials used in the service is included
and the appliance is then guaranteed for a period of 28 days against faults,
which will be repaired free of any labour charge. Each appliance covered by the
care plan will be serviced annually for the duration of the plan. Our advanced
computer systems will tell us when your service is due so we can make an
appointment to visit your home at your convenience.
Bronze Care – Annual service
Each appliance will be serviced annually as detailed above. Our advanced
computer systems will tell us when your service is due so we can make an
appointment for an engineer to visit your home at your convenience.
Silver Care – Annual service + appliance protection
This provides all the benefits of ‘Bronze Care’ and also covers you against the
expense of repairing appliances included in the plan. Replacement parts such as
integral controls and circulating pumps are covered and labour and call out
charges are included (remote time controls, thermostats and valves are
excluded). The central heating system is not covered but will be thoroughly
checked and serviced as part of the annual service described above.
Gold Care - Annual service + full protection
All the benefits of ‘Silver Care’ with protection extended to cover the whole
central heating system including radiators, valves, expansion tank, hot water
cylinder, controls, pipe work and duct work (exclusions may be applied).
